Led by moi, composer and pianist Liberté-Anne, the Liberté Big Band is a vehicle for musical exploration, creativity and spontaneity, steeped in the jazz tradition. These sessions are open rehearsals where the public can get real sense of the musical creative and "rehearsal" process.
Prova is an exercise, an experimentation, a probing into possibilities as well as limitations.
I encourage audience to come with curiosity, open ears and even critiques! Or just come to the usual Reso hang. Musicians are also welcome to sit in, all that is required is an open mind and a kind disposition.
