The pieces of this new ensemble are inspired from the research of Soundscapes and Sound Portraits of Mexico which Eguiluz produced in 2017-2018. Her work bridges different generations of artists, musical genres, nationalities ; it is multicultural, festive and emotional music. Delving deeply into the roots of mexican culture, bringing it to a new light, from afro-american and improvisation languages, Mexhicah Bones resonates strongly with the imminent changing of consciousness, aesthetic and the global politics of our era.
